Challenging the NEET 2025 Provisional Answer Key
The NTA has opened the Answer Key Challenge Window from 3rd to 5th June 2025. During this period, candidates can raise objections against the provisional answers or recorded responses if they believe there are discrepancies.
- Challenge Fee: ₹200 per question (non-refundable)
- Mode of Submission: Online only via the official NEET website
- Note: Objections submitted without payment or through offline modes will not be entertained.
After the challenge period, a panel of subject experts will review all objections. Based on their recommendations, the final answer key will be published and used for result preparation. Individual candidates will not receive personal notifications regarding the status of their objections.
Bonus Marks Policy in NEET UG 2025
The NTA has acknowledged that one or more questions in NEET UG 2025 have multiple correct answers, triggering the bonus marks provision. This policy ensures fairness in evaluation in case of ambiguity or incorrect framing of questions.
How the Bonus Rule Works
If a question has two correct answers:
- Candidates selecting either of the correct options will receive full marks.
- Candidates selecting incorrect options will not receive any marks.
