Meghalaya TET Eligibility Criteria 2025

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 32 years
  • Age Relaxation:
    • OBC: 3 years
    • SC/ST: 5 years
  • Lower Primary Teacher:
    • Must have Class 12 with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
    • Alternatively, candidates with D.El.Ed (2 years) or B.El.Ed (4 years), or Diploma in Special Education are eligible.
  • Upper Primary Teacher:
    • Must have BA/B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and a D.El.Ed (2 years) or B.Ed (1 year).
    • Candidates with Class 12 (50% marks) and a 4-year BA.Ed/B.Sc.Ed are also eligible.

Meghalaya TET Exam Pattern 2025

The MTET will consist of two papers, each with 150 questions, totaling 150 marks. The duration for each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
