Indian Air Force has officially released the notification for Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. Online applications are invited from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027.

Eligibility Criteria for Agniveer Vayu

Age Limit

Candidates must be born between 1 January 2006 and 1 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).

At the time of enrolment, the upper age limit must not exceed 21 years.

Educational Qualification

Science Subjects

Candidates must fulfil any one of the following conditions:

  • Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English, or
  • Completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/CS/IT/Instrumentation) with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English, or
  • Passed a 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects, securing 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.

Other Than Science Subjects

Passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English, or

Completed a 2-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
