Guwahati: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has officially launched the Assam Police Recruitment 2026, announcing 2,350 vacancies across multiple police and allied departments. The large-scale recruitment drive aims to strengthen manpower in Assam Police, APRO, Fire & Emergency Services, Forest Department, Prison Department and Assam Commando Battalions.

Online applications are being accepted from 16 December 2025, and eligible candidates can apply till 16 January 2026 through the common recruitment portal.
