Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially announced the RRB Group D Exam Date 2025 for the recruitment of 32,438 Level-1 posts under CEN 08/2024. The Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to begin on 27 November 2025 and continue till 16 January 2026, marking one of the largest recruitment examinations of the year.
The application process for this recruitment drive concluded on 1 March 2025, and lakhs of candidates are now gearing up for the upcoming schedule.

RRB Group D Exam Schedule 2025
RRBs have confirmed that the CBT will be conducted in multiple phases, starting 27 November 2025 and concluding in mid-January 2026. Candidates can access the Exam City and Date intimation link approximately 10 days prior to their scheduled examination.
The admit card (E-Call Letter) will be available for download four days before the respective exam date.
RRB Group D Admit Card Instructions
Candidates must note the following:
- Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication is mandatory at the exam centre.
- Candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or an e-verified Aadhaar printout.
- The admit card, exam city details, reporting time, and exam guidelines must be read carefully.

RRB Group D Selection Process 2025
The recruitment procedure will include:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Requirements
For Male Candidates
- Lift and carry 35 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes.
- Run 1,000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds.
For Female Candidates
- Lift and carry 20 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes.
- Run 1,000 metres in 5 minutes 40 seconds.
PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Course Completed Act Apprentices are exempted from PET.
Document Verification & Medical Examination
Candidates who clear the PET will be shortlisted for Document Verification in a 1:1 ratio. Tie-breaking will prioritise:
- Older candidate
- Alphabetical order of name
Finally, candidates must pass the Railway Medical Examination to qualify for appointment.

- Click on the CEN 08/2024 – Group D E-Call Letter link.
- Enter your Registration ID and Password / Date of Birth.
- Download and print the admit card after verifying all details.
The direct admit card link will be added once activated by RRBs.
