The roles encompass a wide array, ranging from Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, to Commercial Apprentice and Station Master.

Educational Qualifications for NTPC Positions:

Candidates applying for Undergraduate Posts must have successfully completed the 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination. For Graduate Posts, candidates should possess a University Degree or an equivalent qualification. Applicants awaiting the results of their final examinations for the required minimum educational qualifications are not eligible to apply.

Registration Fee:

Candidates belonging to GEN/OBC categories are required to pay ₹500 as the application fee. Out of this amount, ₹400 will be refunded (after deducting bank charges) upon their participation in the first stage of CBT-1. For candidates from SC/ST/PWD/Women/Ex-Servicemen/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward categories, the registration fee is ₹250, with a similar refund policy (minus bank charges) after appearing in CBT-1.

RRB NTPC Selection Process:

The selection process for NTPC positions involves tailored steps according to each role’s requirements. Typically, this includes two stages of Computer-Based Tests (CBT), specific tests for certain positions, and concludes with document verification and a medical examination.

For roles such as Station Master and Traffic Assistant, candidates undergo two stages of CBTs followed by a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), and conclude with document verification and a medical examination.

Positions like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper require candidates to pass two stages of CBTs and a Typing Skill Test. This is followed by document verification and a medical examination.

Other roles including Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, and Commercial Apprentice follow a selection process of two stages of CBTs, document verification, and a medical examination.
