Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially released the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 09/2025 for RRB Group D Recruitment 2026. Through this large-scale recruitment drive, a total of 22,195 vacancies will be filled for Level-1 posts under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix across different zones of Indian Railways.
Eligible candidates can apply online from 31 January 2026, and the last date to submit the application form is 2 March 2026. Aspirants are advised to carefully review eligibility conditions, selection process, and zone-wise vacancy details before applying.

All selected candidates will receive an initial salary of ₹18,000 per month, along with admissible allowances as per Railway rules.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- 10th Pass from a recognised board
- ITI Certificate from NCVT/SCVT
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT

Note: Fee refund is applicable only to candidates who appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT). Payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Selection Process for RRB Group D 2026
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
- 100 questions (1 mark each)
- Subjects: General Science, Mathematics, Reasoning, General Awareness & Current Affairs
- Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD with scribe)
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Qualifying in nature
- Conducted at three times the vacancy
PET Standards:

- Upload live photograph and signature as per guidelines
