Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated the online application form for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. Aspirants aiming to become teachers for classes I to VIII in central government schools like KVS, NVS, and other institutions can now submit their applications through the official portal, ctet.nic.in.

The online application process began on 27 November 2025 and will continue until 18 December 2025. The CTET examination is scheduled for 8 February 2026.

Steps to Fill the CTET 2026 Online Form

Candidates are required to follow these steps carefully to complete the online application process:

1. Visit the Official Website
   Go to ctet.nic.in and click on the “Apply Online” link for CTET February 2026.
2. Initial Registration
   Fill in basic personal details to generate a Registration Number/Application Number. Save this number for all future logins.
3. Complete the Application Form
   Enter accurate details regarding personal information, educational qualifications, and contact details.
4. Upload Documents
   Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the specified format: Document Format File Size Dimensions Photograph JPG/JPEG 10 KB – 100 KB 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm Signature JPG/JPEG 3 KB – 30 KB 3.5 cm × 1.5 cm
5. Pay Examination Fee
   Make the online payment through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. GST will be charged as applicable.
6. Confirmation
   After successful payment, download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
