CTET Notification 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the notification for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), scheduled for February 2026. This prestigious national-level examination is a mandatory requirement for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to VIII in central government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), and other central institutions.

The CTET 2026 exam will be conducted across 132 cities in India. Interested candidates can apply online via the official CTET portal, ctet.nic.in. The application process commenced on 27 November 2025, and the last date for submission is 18 December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Note: The CTET qualifying certificate will be valid for a lifetime.
